Subsidy for Solar Water Heater 2023

Complete solar systems (cylinder and solar panels), whose installation is carried out by certified installers, are subsidized

A grant scheme of €2 million for the installation or replacement of solar hot water production systems in homes was approved today, May 10, 2021, by the Council of Ministers following a proposal by the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry.

The Plan, which will be implemented by the RES and EXE Fund and financed by the
Recovery and Resilience Plan “Cyprus_Tomorrow”, falls under the strategy for a rapid transition to green energy. Beneficiaries of the project are exclusively natural persons and the aid concerns investments in existing houses in which the application for the issuance of a building permit or urban planning permit was submitted before 31.12.2009.
